About the ASUC Library, 7th Floor Eshleman Hall
The ASUC Library is a unique study space open only to students on the top floors of Eshleman Hall. The library is open 24 hours during finals and peak study times. Our goal is to secure enough funding so the library can be open 24/7 Monday through Friday.
It is the only library on campus where food is allowed. The objective is to offer students a safe, quiet place to go -- an alternative to a dorm room or crowded apartment.
The ASUC and ASUC Auxiliary have been constantly improving the library, which features comfortable couches, study tables, vending machines and is the home of the ASUC Archives. Curtains have been replaced, new tables and chairs have been added and magazine and newspaper subscriptions have been activated. The next goal is to replace the worn carpeting and provide computer terminals for Internet access.
