2010 ASUC Election Results

The 2010 ASUC Election results were announced at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13 in VLSB.

The 2010 ASUC Presidential seat will be held by Noah Stern of Student Action; Nanxi Liu of Student Action has been voted Executive Vice President; Ricardo Gomez of CalSERVE will serve as External Affairs Vice President; and Academic Affairs Vice President will be held by Viola Tang of CalSERVE. Independent Kelly Fabian won the Student Advocate position.

The Bears Initiative passed, as did the ASUC Constitutional Amendment.

The 2010 ASUC Senators include: 11 Student Action, 6 CalSERVE, 1 SQUELCH!, 1 Cooperative Movement, 1 Independent

Over 12,000 students participated in the 2010 ASUC Elections, one of the highest turnout rates in the history of the University of California, Berkeley. In two days, between April 6 and April 8, 12,383 UC Berkeley students cast their ballot, as compared to the 11,016 students who voted in the 2009 elections. This year's turnout represents 12.4% increase in student involvement, as compared to last year.
