Cal has over 50 ASUC-sponsored student publication groups, publishing a variety of magazines, newspapers, newsletters, and journals for specific and general interest audiences. The Publications community at Cal is very diverse and strong, working not only on enhancing journalism expertise for students, but also photography and arts, legal and business, and leadership experiences.

Copies of the current issues of publications are available in:
- Eshleman Library (seventh floor of Eshleman Hall)
- Lobby outside of the Publications Center (ground floor of Eshleman Hall)
- Cal Student Store (first floor of MLK Jr. Student Union)
- Sproul Plaza often upon new releases
- Visit the Publications' individual websites above for more information on a given publication's distribution

Publications and Computing Center
The Publications Center & Open Computing Facility are located on the ground floor of Eshleman Hall.
The space features:
- Mac and PC computer lab
- Publishing software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator CS3)
- Scanners
- High-resolution printers (in color and black and white).
The facility also includes offices for various student publications, and a lounge with a couch and chairs.
The ASUC Publications Center hours are M-F 9-6, Saturday 11-6, and Sunday Noon-6.
The Publications Coalition
The Publications Coalition, founded in Spring 2009, meets on occasion during the year to discuss topics central to all student publications at Cal. Stay tuned for an upcoming meeting date and agenda. Previous topics have included revenue, distribution, printing cost minimization, and talent sharing, among other topics.

Talent Database form
The Cal Publications talent database contains info for UC Berkeley student publications about useable talent for publications. The database can only be accessed by Cal Publication agents, and only for work with journalism. Student writers, editors, photographers, layout designers, artists, or any other type of talent should sign up here if you want to be contacted for extracurricular work that will be published in Cal pubs.
