In an age with rising fees and university budget cuts, it is critical now more than ever for students to actively get involved and strive to enhance the experience for fellow students at Cal. The ASUC is charged with improving the student experience and thus is involved in nearly every issue related to student wellbeing. Interns will have unique, individual experiences as they work to establish a policy change, engage in vast networking opportunities to serve various communities, or plan large-scale projects. Along the way, you will develop and fine-tune your leadership style and management abilities, and make some life-long friends.
Internships in the ASUC are open in the Office of the President, Executive VP, Academic Affairs VP, External VP, and Senate. Application are accepted on a rolling basis with preferred deadline of September 4, 2009 but get them in ASAP!
